Over the course of his career, Lennon wrote more than 25 singles that made it to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, won seven GRAMMYs, was nominated for 34, is rated as the fifth-greatest singer and 38th greatest artist of all time by Rolling Stone, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice-once for his work in the Beatles and again as a solo artist. Both solo and with The Beatles, Lennon helped write and record some of the most iconic songs of the entire 20th century that still pander and echo to this day.
